Thickness: 0.20-0.50 mm Weight: 23 kg White aluminium oxide is a mineral product that is chemically neutral. A removal agent for free-jet blasting and blasting cabinets. It does not cause corrosion through metallic deposits on the blasted work piece. It does not rust and does not absorb moisture. Aluminium oxide contains no free silicone and there cannot cause silicosis. The material is suitable for hard surfaces where demands on precision are high. White aluminium oxide contains less iron oxide, which make sit more aggressive than the brown. Used for deburring and removing rust and other difficult contamination. The sharp edged crystals retain their effectiveness through their life. Blasting of hard surfaces e.g. super-refined steel, hard metals and magnets or material that are used for electronics or thin material that must not be deformed, has no cold-hammering effect. Excellent for blasting powder coatings. After blasting the surfaces are matt and raw, which gives good adhesion properties. The agent is reusable. Potential health risks: There are no significant health or environmental risks when used for its intended purpose. Eyes and throat can be irritated when exposed to high concentrations. Long term skin contact can cause dryness. Use appropriate respiratory protection and protective goggles and nitrile gloves, wear suitable clothing. Skin contact: Wash with soap and water. Eyes: Wash with plenty of temperate water, for several minutes. Hold eyelids wide apart. If irritation persists contact a doctor. Handling and storage Avoid producing dust. Provide good ventilation. Prevent discharge to drains or watercourses. Store in sealed sacks or containers. Store in a dry, well ventilated place, well sealed. protect against exposure to moisture.
